My design philosophy

I’m a confident and creative designer who is self-motivated, self-sufficient and comes to you with a strong background in both print and digital media. I have worked extensively in many sectors but predominantly in the healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical industries, producing high end business to business and consumer facing designs.
I have worked with many established brands and organisations over the years, from large pharmaceutical brands and healthcare organisations, to local independent healthcare providers. I love to work with businesses that want to stand out. I believe that working collaboratively with a company is a very important part of the design process, as this gives a real insight into what makes a company different and unique. I also believe it’s more important than ever to have a strong brand that helps you stand out, my simplistic, bold and innovative approach to design will help your business succeed and grow.

What I'm good at

As a freelance graphic designer, I wear many hats, and I’m involved in numerous roles. I translate ideas and concepts and package them up in to eye-catching designs, whether it's a logo design, a company brochure, website or outside display material, that will grab the viewers attention and your competitors.

Since setting up as a freelance graphic designer in 2007 I have worked with over 30 healthcare sector organisations. I have my own client list, some local and some further a field. The most recent I have worked for are Kimberly-Clark Professional, Barts Health NHS, and BioStrata Ltd in Cambridge. I also have a lot of experience working with design agencies as an external design resource. Prior to my life as a freelance designer I worked for many years in London as an art director with some of the leading marketing and design agencies around.
